AT&T Presents Black History Month Articles by Maya Angelou

AT&T has partnered with Maya Angelou, one of the nation’s most storied poets, to present her first-ever radio special on public radio distributed by PRI, Public Radio International. In the exclusive radio series, Angelou will engage in touching conversations with notable African Americans about comedy, film, family, life and poetry*. Below are select excerpts from the radio special.

As an extension of the radio program, Angelou is sharing a series of one-of-a-kind articles in connection with Black History Month. These articles take readers on a journey of black history as Angelou discusses topics such as film, comedy and family. A new article will be added each week throughout the month of February.
